Latin American Structures
The Sanders visited Latin America several times. There’s no single Pre or Post Colombian building that can adequately represent this whole area. Just like any of these other places can’t be represented by one building style or period.
However, we found this article on Mayan style houses in Mexico. This shelter would be one where we would be okay with deviating in the overall shape or dimensions a bit more. If you look online, there are kit built structures that resemble the overall shape of some of those houses in the article. But, we would also want to integrate some of those pastels and other vivid colors, as those tend to be common in multiple parts of Latin America.
